Amsino and Owens & Minor to Form Joint Venture
Amsino Medical Group, a privately held developer and manufacturer of high value healthcare disposables, and Owens & Minor, Inc. (NYSE-OMI), a leading distributor of healthcare products to the U.S. acute-care market, have entered into an agreement to establish a joint venture designed to provide sourcing services for Owens & Minor’s private label brand. Amsino will contribute its sourcing expertise to the new company, which will be distinctly separate from Amsino’s existing contract manufacturing, private label and branded businesses.
Dr. Richard Lee, Chairman and CEO of Amsino Medical Group, said, “We are proud of our sourcing partnership with Owens and Minor, and I believe the joint venture will contribute significantly to the continued successful growth of MediChoice products through focused quality and supply chain management.”

Amsino Medical Group Engages MedPro Associates in Sales Collaboration
(Pomona, CA – July, 2011) Beginning July 1, 2011, MedPro Associates will represent Amsino’s AMSure(R) and AMSafe(R) brands along with certain private labeled products to non-acute markets in the United States and Canada. MedPro’s 30 sales professionals will team up with Amsino’s existing sales organization to provide expanded support for Amsino’s current and prospective customer base.
Amsino has provided high value urology, IV/infusion, enteral feeding, respiratory and surgical products to the nursing home, home care and EMS markets for over 17 years. Amsino’s presence will dramatically increase with the addition of MedPro’s tenured organization to the sales effort.

Dr. Richard Lee Joined Committee of 100

Amsino Medical Group Reaches Settlement Agreement with Ivera Medical Corporation
In December 2010, Amsino reached an agreement with Ivera Medical Corporation to amicably settle the litigation between the parties that was filed in the California Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles on October 30, 2009. During the pendency of the suit, Amsino denied and vigorously contested all of the allegations against it. The parties ultimately came to an agreement to settle the litigation. Although the terms of the settlement are confidential, Amsino is pleased to report that it has resolved the matter in its entirety.
